HELP

MISSION STATEMENT
To help end cycles of abuse, neglect, social bondage, and wrong thinking that hold many individuals hostage, by equipping them with the emotional and practical tools necessary to lead more productive lives.
VISION STATEMENT
The HELP! Foundation is a faith-based organization founded on sound principles with reproducible results. While victims of domestic violence have been the initial participants, by utilizing the same basic principles, others can also break cyclical obstructions to personal productivity. By re-building and re-structuring negative thought processes, re-tooling with workforce and life skills through practical and faith based education, and counseling with techniques to help break unproductive patterns, destructive cycles can be stopped. When coupled with educators to teach necessary skills and mentors to empower them for personal successes, participants are propelled toward personal and financial stability.
The HELP! Foundation approach is based on these basic presuppositions:
- To achieve anything, one must first have hope, to have hope one must first have faith, and through faith, anything is possible.
- Independence and confidence in ones self are key factors in health and well being, resulting in more productive attitudes.
- Work builds self esteem and helps creates a sense of personal worth, self satisfaction, personal empowerment, and a growing capacity for independence from unhealthy circumstances.
- Home ownership, job security, and financial stability all add to an overall sense of well being.
- Emotionally healthy people are capable of developing and maintaining healthier relationships and living productive lives, consequently passing stronger values, financial independence, and emotional health on to future generations.
